Any person in Lewis
county can receive a library card free of charge. Please bring
two forms of ID to get a card.
Library Services: Books for adults and children, audiotapes
(talking books) and large print books. Books are loaned out
for 2 weeks at a time. Books may be renewed 2 times; however
books on the New York Times Best Seller List may only be
renewed 1 time. No more than 6 books on an adult card and 6
books on a child's card. Overdue fines are $ .05 a day and the
maximum fine is $ 2.50.
Services for legally blind: Talking books and tape player are
available through the WV Library Commission. An application
form is available at the library.
DVDs (educational and entertainment) are loaned out for 2 days
at a time no more than 2 per family. Late charge of $ 1.00 a
day per tape.
Computer Services: The library has six computers with Internet
access and flash drive access. The computers are available for
research for children and adults. Information can be printed
off for $ .15 a page. Library patrons must follow the rules of
the library's Internet policy. Children under 18 years old
must have a signed parental permission slip before going on
the Internet. Please ask at the circulation desk for the
permission slip and Internet policy.
Photocopy services are $ .15 a page for Black and White.
Photocopy services are $ .50 a page for Color.
